Casey
Casey loves belly dancing because it’s fun, different, and a good workout. She has 3 beautiful children and a wonderful husband of 14 years. She is in the Coast Guard and works on search and rescue aircrafts. Casey loves reading, crocheting, working out, golfing, cooking and dancing.

Olivia
Olivia is a triplet to Rachel (who is also a Desert Flower) & to Ross. She is 18 years old and currently attends the University of Southern Mississippi. Olivia has always been interested in belly dance; last summer when the opportunity arose to take classes she tried it and liked it.

Rachel
Rachel is 18 years old and currently attends the University of Southern Mississippi. Her major is undetermined at this time, but she wants to go to medical school. Rachel started belly dancing last summer and really enjoys it.

Sian
Sian is a happily married mother of 3. She started traditional dance at a very young age and continued the study of various dance genres well into adulthood. Sian is an Advertising and Marketing Director/choreographer for “Shining Star Dance.” She is a second generation belly dancer and was introduced to Middle Easter dance by her Aunt Anya Sylvania, a dancer/teacher from Zuri Dance.
Desert Flowers: Secretary
Sian is a happily married mother of 3. She started traditional dance at a very young age and continued the study of various dance genres well into adulthood. Sian is an Advertising and Marketing Director/choreographer for “Shining Star Dance.” She is a second generation belly dancer and was introduced to Middle Easter dance by her Aunt Anya Sylvania, a dancer/teacher from Zuri Dance.

Vasiliki (vahs-ih-LEEK-ee)
Vasiliki meaning Royal, was named after her maternal grandmother. She is a first generation Greek Island American, who was exposed to Belly Dancers as a child, at Greek celebrations. Vasiliki kept the wish to belly dance as a closet desire until May 2013 with beginner Belly Dance classes, after turning 43 years old.
